The National Union of Sahrawi women (UNMS) with human rights for our struggle against the military occupation of our country of the Western Sahara, against violations of human rights of any kind, in this December 10, 2017 that Moroccan are they commemorate 69 years of have been proclaimed the Universal Declaration of human rights by the United Nations General Assembly (10 December 1948).
As society and as women peacemakers we have as a basic and fundamental principle the respect to the human being in all its integrity. Recognizing and claiming our right to self-determination and independence and the return to our homes after 42 years of forced exile by the Moroccan invasion, we demand the same respect for religious, political, sexual differences and respect for the life of the Sahrawi citizens in our cities occupied by the force of arms.
Young Sahrawis, many men and women have lost their lives in this struggle for human rights, which have been murdered and killed without justice, and many brothers and sisters suffering from daily harassment and intimidation to defend their right to freedom e even by merely claiming a fair and decent work.

On this day in which the whole world shouts and agree that human rights are inalienable and inherent to each man and each woman, we denounce the killings of young Sahrawis in the territories occupied by Morocco.
We denounce these crimes against humanity, and demand justice against the high degree of impunity existing in countries where authoritarian governments and dictators, among them Morocco, violate human rights and exert repression to silence the voices of those who struggle for Justice and freedom as the Sahrawi people. On this day the Sahrawi people reiterates his peaceful struggle for freedom as a fundamental human right value.
