 The Saharawi Republic participates in the second meeting of the network of African women leadership.
In the midst of the presence of more than 200 participants from various countries of the AU and UN.
The women of the United Nations and the representation of several leading women of African non-governmental organizations and the diaspora of African institutions. The Sadr participated in the
High level Summit of the leadership African women Forum, which takes place from 24 to 26 April 2018
at the headquarters of the African Union in Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital, organized by the African Union Commission (AUC) and the background of women of United Nations (UN) and the
Government of the Federal Republic of Germany.
During the three-day discussions focused on the pursuit of business objectives
The network is part of the implementation of the 2063 of the AU agenda and the agenda of the United Nations of the United Nations by the year 2030 to achieve gender equality and the empowerment of women
and girls in various fields of political, social, economic, and security.
In this context, four areas were identified: women's participation in politics
Good governance, peace and security, rural women, young women and communication and social networks. The meeting also focused on the problems of structure and tasks
competences related to the network at the continental, regional and national level.

At the end of the meetings, the meeting adopted a final declaration containing the most important recommendations
To activate the network as soon as possible and to ask States and Governments to facilitate the work of the
Network at national, regional and continental level.
The network of African women leaders was established at the headquarters of the Federation

At the invitation of the Women's Union of Korea, the Secretary general of the National Union of Sahrawi women, Fátma Mehdi, as a member of the International Democratic Federation of Women held in the capital of North Korea, Piong Yonq from 16 to 23 AB Ril, with the presence of women's organizations representing several countries, including Russia, Greece, Italy, Pakistan, Venezuela, Mexico, Angola, Namibia, South Africa, Colombia, Cuba, Brazil, Mozambique and Portugal, as well as representatives at the level Continental and international, such as the international socialist organizations of International Women.


During the opening remarks, the president of the WIDF, Lorena Peña, insisted on the importance of continuing to work in order to achieve peace and justice in the world, in addition to expressing his condemnation of the oppression and lack of freedoms he experiences in today's world. With regard to Western Sahara, Lorena Peña has condemned the Morocco's illegal occupation of Western Sahara and expressed the solidarity of WIDF with Sahrawi women in their struggle for freedom and peace. It also expressed its solidarity with the Palestinian and Syrian people, Syria, as well as with countries in difficult circumstances.
The meeting focuses on the study of the work plan for the year 2018  2019 of the International Democratic Federation of Women at Continental and international level.
There will also be recommendations on solidarity work on various issues in the world.

 Also I speaks with different delegations of politicians and aid workers visiting the camps and keep meetings with the UNMS both at Headquarters and in the homes of women whose perpetrators are the representatives of the Executive of the UNMS level regional.




Also highlights the work of the Committee on mentoring that makes a scheduled visit to evaluate the work in the different institutions of the UNMS and make an inventory of the materials available to find techniques for the improvement of the utilization and performance of the work.

Bukhari, born in Villa Cisneros, and that was one of the pioneers of the Saharawi independence movement.
Occurs when the crisis of 1975 Bukhari was studying law at the University of La Laguna.
His mastery of the Spanish and English led him to play different positions. In 1979 was the first Ambassador of the Sadr in Panama and in 1982 the first Ambassador to Costa Rica. Shortly afterwards he was appointed representative of the Frente Polisario for Europe, in 1988 as the first Ambassador took possession in Mexico. Later he was Ambassador for the Mission in several Latin American countries. The last stage of his life served as a representative of the Frente Polisario in New York United Nations Headquarters.
His diplomatic work had its grand finale when in March 2016 was the host of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki Mun, on his visit to Bir Lehlu, in the Western Sahara freed, being the first Secretary General of the UN making a v this institutional seaside territories liberated from Western Sahara.
