Women against war and for the justice is: the theme of the 17TH international meeting which began yesterday on 5 March in Cape Town (South Africa) organized by the group Women in Black of South Africato the meeting
attended by representative of more than 150 women from different countries in the world that will present thematic on
the vision of women against war and for social justice and forced displacement
and its impact on the lives of women. The National Union of Sahrawi women
represented by Metu Hnini spoke about the situation of Sahrawi women in refugee
camps and the violation of human rights in Western Sahara occupied by Morocco.
Also addressed the relevance of the Sahrawi cause marked by the consolidation
of the right of the Saharawi people, especially in their battles legal against
the plundering of natural resources following a decision by the European Court
in December 2016 and 27 of February of this year and declared illegal the
EU-Morocco fisheries agreements if they contain products from Western Sahara.
