Bukhari, born in Villa Cisneros, and that was one of the pioneers of the Saharawi independence movement.
Occurs when the crisis of 1975 Bukhari was studying law at the University of La Laguna.
His mastery of the Spanish and English led him to play different positions. In 1979 was the first Ambassador of the Sadr in Panama and in 1982 the first Ambassador to Costa Rica. Shortly afterwards he was appointed representative of the Frente Polisario for Europe, in 1988 as the first Ambassador took possession in Mexico. Later he was Ambassador for the Mission in several Latin American countries. The last stage of his life served as a representative of the Frente Polisario in New York United Nations Headquarters.
His diplomatic work had its grand finale when in March 2016 was the host of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki Mun, on his visit to Bir Lehlu, in the Western Sahara freed, being the first Secretary General of the UN making a v this institutional seaside territories liberated from Western Sahara.
A day before his death, Bukhari Ahmed addresses a letter to the Security Council.
