The
Vice-President of the Parliament Pan-African (PP) Suelma Beiruk signed in the
book of condelencias at the Embassy of Egypt upon the death of Butros
Butros-Ghali and Mohamed Hassanain Haikel .The event takes place at the Embassy
of Egypt in Pretoria and at the moment in which the Vice President exercises
his function in Rotary permanence of the PAP.
In the
statement to the media, the Vice President has expressed his condolences to the
people and Government of Egypt on the passing of two great political,
intellectual and diplomatic figures that represent a loss not only for Egypt
but for Africa or the Arab world, but for the world in general.
Butros
Butros-Ghali was an Egyptian diplomat who served as Secretary-General of the
United Nations between January de1992 and 1996.y December Mohamed Hassanain
Haikel, a historian prominent politician.Mohamed Hassanein Heikalhe was
editor-in-chief of the Cairo newspaper Al-Ahram and has been a commentator on
Arab affairs for more than 50 years.
