The Conference is held within the framework of the Pan-African Parliament legislature 4 and for the first time held outside the official seat of the PAP, Midland (South Africa), on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Egyptian Parliament constituted since 1866.
Days 13 and 14 the Sahrawi women participate next to women in Africa and representatives of international organizations at the Conference to publicize our struggle for freedom, against the occupation and our efforts for equality between men and women.
The fight of the Sahrawi women was present at all the discussions and debates that were characterized by the unanimous support for the legitimate and just aspirations of freedom and independence of the Saharawi people, as well as support for the rights of the Saharawi women in accordance with the Protocol of Maputo and other protocols and conventions relating to the rights of women , against the violence that is exercised against women and girls especially in those territories occupied of the Sahara Western.
During the days of the Conference, the delegation of Sahrawi women composed by Suelma Beiruk, Vice President of the Pan-African Parliament, Senia Ahmed, Member of Pan-African Parliament, Jadiyetu El Mohtar, responsible for relations internments of the UNMS and Selma Bulahe, Member of the UNMS and the technical team of the delegation, maintained contacts and meetings with delegates from different countries, as well as the media present.
