 Begin the works of the Conference of women on "¨Promover the participation political of them women in the posts of decision¨' sponsored by the Parliament Pan-African and the background of population of Nations United that has place in the city Egyptian of Sharm the Sheikh of the 13 to the 14 of October 2016. The Conference is held within the framework of the Pan-African Parliament legislature 4 and for the first time held outside the official seat of the PAP, Midrand (South Africa), on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Egyptian Parliament constituted since 1866.

Days 13 and 14 the Sahrawi women participate next to women in Africa and representatives of international organizations at the Conference  ". fight of the Sahrawi women was present at the discussions, whose positioning is unanimous in supporting the legitimate and just aspirations of freedom and independence of the Saharawi people, as well as support for the rights of the Saharawi women in accordance with the Protocol of Maputo and other protocols and conventions relating to the rights of women , against the violence that is exercised against women and girls and by the participation political of them women in them positions of decision.

Note that the Sahrawi women are part of the follow-up Committee for the implementation of the Maputo Protocol, Malabo and of laws of the Member States of the AU Agenda 2063 that concern the rights of women and girls in Africa.
