A delegation of the Government and the Parliament of Navarre, headed by Vice President of social rights, Miguel Laparra is meets with the Executive of the National Union of Sahrawi women

An of the Government and of the Parliament of Navarre, delegation headed by the Vice President of social rights, Miguel Laparra, has made an institutional visit to the Saharawi refugee camps.
The four-day trip had an agenda of with encounters with Sahrawi authorities, and visits to the cooperation projects financed by Navarre during the last years in the area.
In the framework of this visit the delegation composed of political parties and representatives of NGOs, meets the with the Executive of the National Union of Sahrawi women at the headquarters of the Organization in the Wilaya of Bujdur.
The meeting has been an opportunity to make a review of the latest political developments and the role of Sahrawi women in the management and administration of refugee camps as well as the struggle for women's empowerment. Also discussed cooperation between the UNMS and various NGOs in Navarre.
