The Polisario Front has expressed its deep concern over the imminent receipt in Germany of a shipment of fish products from the occupied Western Sahara, considering that this is an abnormal behavior which is in spite of the will of the Saharawi people.

In a letter addressed by Mr. Emhamed Khaddad, in charge of Intarnational Relations  in the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, to Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany, Heiko Maas, he expressed the deep concern of the Polisario front on the imminent receipt in Germany of a fish shipment from the occupied territories of Western Sahara, scheduled to arrive on Dutch Vessel Bente on July 19 to the port of Bremen, Germany, loaded with 3000 tons of fish powder coming from El AaiĂșn, the capital city of occupied Western Sahara.
Mr. Khaddad added that the Polisario Front, recognized by the United Nations as the legitimate and sole representative of the Saharawi people, condemns strongly this illegal export of natural resources from the occupied territories of Western Sahara, which isdespite the will of the Saharawi people.
