Message of greeting from the Federation of Cuban women

Dear friends,
It is this message intended to send you our most sincere signs of affection and admiration for women Saharan on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sadr.

Saharan women commemorate the 40th anniversary of State Sahrawi

In the Sahrawi refugee camps in the Diaspora and in the territories occupied by Morocco in the Western Sahara is celebrated the 40th anniversary of the proclamation of the democratic Saharawi Republic.





 On February 27, 1976, the Saharawi Democratic Republic, in the region of Bir Lehlu was proclaimed, all Saharans announced its adherence to the principles of the Frente Polisario and its total willingness to sacrifice and the armed struggle for the liberation and independence of our country against the Moroccan occupiers.


To commemorate this historic event organized political and military parades, as well as other cultural activities in the Saharawi refugee camps, in the occupied areas of Western Sahara, in the territories liberated from the Sadr, and he is also celebrated by our communities abroad. On this 40th anniversary of such prominent event, and in this context the National Union of women participated in the parade, projecting the fields of Sahrawi women's participation, political, social and economic.

The democratic women's movement (MDM) of Portugal salutes the SADR

Under the 40 th anniversary RASD, the democratic women's movement (MDM) of Portugal salutes the Frente Polisario, the UNMS and all Sahrawi popular organizations in their struggle for independence and national sovereignty.
We want to reaffirm our solidarity to the popular front for the liberation of the Sahrawi people and our unconditional solidarity with UNMS and all the Sahrawi people and our repudiation of the ferocious attack of the Morocco in the occupied territories and the deafening silence of the Security Council of the UN.
MDM defends, with you, a referendum is free and fair so that the Saharan people to exercise the right to self-determination, as they determine the UN resolutions; so the release of all Saharawi political prisoners, and that be known the whereabouts of kidnapped and disappeared Sahrawi.
Together international bodies MDM defends that servant is an international mechanism for the protection of human rights in Western Sahara and the cessation of the plundering of the natural riches of illegally in the occupied part of the Western Sahara.

MDM salutes the Sadr and their organizational structures to believe that they will know the challenges and reinforce the principles and values of peace, as well as expand reports of all violations committed by the forces of Morocco against the people, refugees and Saharawis in the occupied territories.

The National Union of Sahrawi women expresses its solidarity with the defenders of human rights Ali Salem Tamek and Ghalia Djimi

The National Union of Sahrawi women in his statement, expresses its solidarity with the defenders of human rights Ali Salem Tamek and Ghalia Djimi. The Executive of the National Union of Sahrawi women met yesterday, 19 February to finalize preparations for the 40th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Democratic Republic. 

After the meeting, the Executive maintains a meeting with Christopher Sanner, American Professor, an expert in culture the Moringa plant. 


The teacher explained the importance of cultivation for its immense benefits used to be nutritional level very complete and can be used for many natural remedies in diseases such as blood pressure and diabetes, diseases very prevalent in the Sahrawi refugees, especially women.

The Vice-President of the Parliament Pan-African (PP) Suelma Beiruk signed in the book of condelencias at the Embassy of Egypt upon the death of Butros Butros-Ghali and Mohamed Hassanain Haikel .The event takes place at the Embassy of Egypt in Pretoria and at the moment in which the Vice President exercises his function in Rotary permanence of the PAP.
In the statement to the media, the Vice President has expressed his condolences to the people and Government of Egypt on the passing of two great political, intellectual and diplomatic figures that represent a loss not only for Egypt but for Africa or the Arab world, but for the world in general.

Butros Butros-Ghali was an Egyptian diplomat who served as Secretary-General of the United Nations between January de1992 and 1996.y December Mohamed Hassanain Haikel, a historian prominent politician.Mohamed Hassanein Heikalhe was editor-in-chief of the Cairo newspaper Al-Ahram and has been a commentator on Arab affairs for more than 50 years.
